Broken Bridge is a fun Indian cafe serving fusion cuisine. It’s a place where you can start off your meal with ‘Curd Rice’ in the form of a starter and you can end your meal with ‘Filter Coffee’ in the form of a desert.
Parking would never be a problem here as it’s located right next to ‘Fromage’ inside ‘Somerset Greenway’ Hotel. The service is quick and all the feedback is taken into consideration as they go by the aim – Customer’s satisfaction. One can also customise and remodel the dishes according to preferences and choices.
‘Thayeer Saadham Fritters’ is a must try fusion dish here. Curd rice is just coated with their batter and fried to perfection. ‘Cheese onion Pakoda’ is really enjoyable especially when the weather is cold. The outdoor seating becomes handy at those times. The vodka infused ‘Chilli chicken wings’ is a good one for non vegetarians, just yummy! They also serve mocktails and they have a separate menu for cocktails. ‘Red Wine Sangria’ topped with apples is a pure bliss.
They also cook ‘Naan’ using ‘Blue cheese’. Not something which everybody would prefer, so one must must have a proper look at it before ordering. ‘Paan Lassi’ was thick and the smell of Paan was quite evident. You can also turn their signature drinks into your favourite cocktails by spending few bucks extra.
‘Chicken tikka Kulcha melt’ is a fast moving dish here. All the desserts has some kind of innovation in it. For instance, tiramisu comes along with filter coffee. Nutella custard accompanies maltova crumble. The half baked chocolate cake with vanilla icecream is one more dessert which cannot be missed out.
BROKEN BRIDGE CAFE Named After Namma Chennai’s Most Favourite Broken Beach Bridge, this Cafe has set New Landmark at the MRC Nagar! 🌇 I had a lovely time dining there for lunch few days before Christmas! The Christmassy Feels were on Point with Bling lights and beautifully Decorated Christmas Tree Welcoming us! 🎄 We had a perfect 3 course meal, starting with : Starter : Prawn Salt & Pepper with Red Pepper Chutney – A simple yet Impressive Crunchy Prawn Starter served with Cold Tomato Chutney. The Crust is very Crispy that you can actually hear the Crunching Sound in Every Bite and Nicely Cooked Soft Prawn Flesh Inside. Entrée : Salmon Spaghetti with Orange Butter Sauce – A dish out of the Menu & was suggested by Mr. Sunder – one of the staffs there. Have been seeing only Chicken Based Dishes on Instagram & Zomato so we wanted to try something Sea Food and chose Salmon Boii! Without a doubt, I knew this is all I wanted because Salmon and Pasta are a Dream Combination❣️ The Orange Butter Sauce surprisingly blended so well with the Spaghetti and this dish is not to be missed by Sea Food lovers! Slightly on the pricier side, Costed 1200/- + tax but the attentiveness and the Food certainly makes up for it. Dessert : Nutella Custard with Maltova Crumble The layers of Crunchy Maltova Crumble, Thick Nutella and Smooth Custard was a Top Notch!
