There are restaurants which can bring together varieties of Idlies with the combination of different chutney’s and sambars in their own style, but only a few makes plate-sized idli which has the composition of two normal ones, commonly known as Thattu Idli. It’s served with Podi, ghee spread over and is comparatively softer. 4 or more Idlies can be made simultaneously just like the former, except the fact, that the container which holds the flour is vertical one by one.
