India’s first-ever and fascinating underwater aquarium of world class would be set up by the VGP Group.
The state-of-the-art facility included setting up of an Underground Tunnel Aquarium and a Marine Bio-technology Research Centre. The underwater tunnel, with a moving walkway, would go up to a distance of 65 to 70 meter.
The aquarium feature more marine species from across the world with touch pools where visitors could touch and feel.
There is a walkawator provided in the tunnel, one can step in the walkawator and they will be taken fully around the tunnel and back to the entry point.
There are different kinds of exotic fishes introduced into the main tunnel including, sharks, sting rays and other small fishes from the ocean.
To make it interesting the Aquarium has been designed with five zones, viz Rainforest, Gorge, Mangrove, Coastal and Deep ocean
The aquarium will offer an unique under the sea experience. Visitors walking through the walkway through the submerged acrylic tunnel could experience some close encounters with various types of fish.
People who have never visited an aquarium before would have felt great being here. For us it was disappointing. 500 bucks per head is way too much considering the varities of marine animals they kept and overall maintenance. For kids it is good to visit once. But they really need to come up with better approach on kids’ ticket price. My kid is 3.5 years old and of 100 cm height. They charged 400 bucks! Whereas kids who are more than 4 years but less than 90cm height are entering free. I took age proof also but that counter lady is not ready to look at. Dissapointed!!
